About Us

Seeds of Hope is a Palestinian-led association founded in 2024 and registered in Lisbon, Portugal. Born out of the urgent need to protect children's right to education amid occupation, siege, and bombardment, we operate mobile learning tents that travel with displaced communities across Gaza, bringing education, psychosocial care, creative healing, and mutual aid directly to the children who need it most.

Our team of dedicated local educators, psychosocial carers, and an international coordination network work together to ensure that displaced and orphaned children not only continue learning, but find safety, community, and hope amid crisis. We believe that education is not a luxury, it is an act of resistance, and a fundamental human right.

Since beginning operations in July 2024, Seeds of Hope has become a lifeline for hundreds of displaced children in Gaza, distributing more than 3,500 meals across our learning sites. In 2025, twelve of our students were recognised among the top high school achievers in the West Gaza Municipality, a testament to the resilience of Palestinian children and the power of continuous education even under the most devastating conditions.

Education is an act of resistance. We are here to make sure no child in Gaza is denied it.

When one child shared his love for butterflies and grief with us, we put out a call for butterfly artwork and received an outpouring from artists around the world. Acts like these remind our children they are not forgotten.

Every child in Gaza deserves a future. Help us protect it.
